Jay Z spits "all summers" in unearthed 2000 freestyle

Tim Westwood unleashes a rare verse from Jigga circa 2000.

"I sleep all whole winters, wake up and spit summers…"

It’s not every day that you find an unreleased Jay Z freestyle. So when Tim Westwood decided to unearth a stashed verse from Jigga from 2000 in honor of Throwback Thursday, it sure drew plenty of excitement.

Like he does from week to week, Westwood unleashed a lost freestyle from the Tim Westwood Show days, which this time came courtesy of Jigga during the Vol. 3… Life & Times of S. Carter era. While rare, most of this freestyle lifts from material already heard on the aforementioned album as well as the song "Blackout" with DMX, and famous freestyles over "Who Shot Ya" and Sway and King Tech's "Wake Up Show."

Still, nothing beats an unearthed verse from Hov. So in honor of TBT, hit play and reminisce to old Jigga below.
