Naija imports Tiwa Savage and Wizkid are doing better than "Bad" in new video

This Afropop summer jam is full of bounce and brags by the next woman to watch.

Start getting familiar with singer/songwriter Tiwa Savage. The lone woman to perform at the One Africa Music Fest in Brooklyn, Savage held her own, but she's been holding court for a minute. The Nigerian-born artist has co-written songs for Fantasia and Monica, and sang backup for everyone from Whitney Houston to George Michael to Mary J. Blige. Now the spotlight is squarely on Savage.

She closed her electric performance at the Barclay's Center by throwing up the roc, and today we know why. In the video below, Savage confirmed her signing to Roc Nation.

And Friday (July 29) she dropped the video for her song "Bad," featuring international sensation Wizkid. Press play on this empowering jam where Tiwa talks cash sh-t, and you'll see that she'll fit right in with her new label. "Yeah I'm coming to cause trouble / You don't like me unfollow/ You can't talk about my hustle/ You make money, I make double," she sings with the swag of a rapper.
