Cudder fans rejoice.

Adding yet another acting role into his growing list of IMDb credits, Kid Cudi has joined the cast of Empire for season three. As _Entertainment Weekly_ reports, Cudi, né Scott Mescudi, is joining the show as a rival of Hakeem Lyon (played by Bryshere "Yazz" Gray).

Cudder will play the role of Gram, a rapper who is described as "an independent musician who is a rival to Hakeem both in the studio and in life." If that wasn't enough, Gram is also dating 'Keem's ex-girlfriend Tiana (Serayah McNeill).

The role is the latest for the actor-and-musician, who has made appearances in television shows like Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Scorpion, as well as The Cleveland Show. As far as movies go, the Cleveland native is no stranger to the film sets, as he has appeared in "Need For Speed," "Entourage" and last year's critically-acclaimed "James White." 2016 will also see Cud releasing his long-awaited sixth studio album Passion, Pain & Demon Slayin'.

But while a date is set in the air for the LP, Cudder's Empire debut for Season 3 begins on September 21 at 9 p.m. on FOX. Other names filling up the new season's star-studded lineup are Taye Diggs, French Montana, Birdman, and singer Sierra McClain.
