After years of grinding behind the scenes, Young Lito is getting his long-awaited shot and this summer it’ll be for all to see.
"I’ma be dropping singles once every two weeks," he told REVOLT this past week. The Brooklyn rapper, who has been putting in work these past few years under the BSB Records umbrella, is prepping a brand new mixtape this summer called Rise of the Real. With the wheels in motion, Lito released "I Love This Game," a summery record that features his partner-in-rhyme Troy Ave, around Memorial Day weekend. As we approach Fourth of July, the Robbie Nova-produced tune has amassed thousands of spins on SoundCloud and a proper music video that was shot in Miami.
With all this in place, Lito promises a hot summer 16. "I got my tape, Rise of the Real, dropping on July 28th and I'ma be dropping singles once every two weeks," he declared. "Y’all gonna see way more work from me. I'm taking over summer 16.
Young Lito’s Rise of the Real arrives July 28. The single, "I Love This Game," is available now on iTunes.
