New Ocean Alert.
As he usually does at least one time a year, Frank Ocean has formally given yet another update on his long-awaited, ever-gestating, and much-anticipated third studio album, Boys Don't Cry.
Early this morning, Frank Ocean took to the only trusty source for his everyday updates, his Tumblr (aptly titled: BoysDontCry.co), and updated the website with a new graphic implying the new LP could arrive at some point this month.
The cryptic message was cleverly released in the image of a library card that features a series of release dates that have came and went. The first stamped date lists July 2015, which was the original timeframe for the album's arrival. Around this time, Ocean teased a magazine of the same name (Boys Don't Cry) would coincide with the release. However, after July 2015, as shown by the listed dates, many other intended releases have come along and they are listed in chronological order up until July 2016.
Ocean has been prepping this LP for the past four years. Earlier this year, purported snippets from the LP arrived online, following speculation that the singer supposedly hosted listening parties for the record in New York City. It was recorded at London's Abbey Road studios. Earlier this month, rumors once again swirled after the Internet was seemingly convinced that Ocean's long-awaited new album will be dropping on June 3rd. Of course, like the series of dates above, that came and went.

But here we are once again with another promised July release. We'll just have to take what we can get.
