By now, you've likely been invited to the #KimExposedTaylorParty, gone over the evidence, and picked a side. And you wouldn't be the only one. Even celebrities who would normally take the high road with a "no comment" response have, like us, found this beef too juicy to ignore. Here are a few fellow famous people who've weighed in.
Pharrell let his impulses get the best of him, and forgot how the internet worked. Despite later deleting this co-sign, he was spotted "liking" another user's tweet that read: "How do you feel about Taylor Swift?" The response? A video of reality show contestant Tiffany "New York" Pollard speaking in the Diary Room on Big Brother UK saying, "She's a disgrace to humanity and she's a disgrace to women who are actually beautiful and classy and she just doesn't have the vernacular that she thinks she possesses. Somebody lied to her several times and told her that she was fly, hot, and sexy, and beautiful and she's nothing like that. She's nothing of the sort." The super-producer changed his mind and deleted the "like," but it was too late; the internet had already caught a screenshot. Kim: 1, Taylor: 0
Like Pharrell, Zendaya silently weighed in on the celebrity feud by handing out some "likes," too. And like Pharrell, internet users snagged pics of the move before she deleted them. The first tweet Z vouched for was one that gave a nod to her learning her lesson and picking the "right" clique. It read "My girl Zendaya knew better" and featured side-by-side photos of the singer-actress first standing alongside Swift after appearing in her "Bad Blood" video and then alongside Beyoncé after appearing in her "Freedom" clip. The second co-sign Z gave was to a tweet that read: "I'm glad Zendaya was never really down with that whole Taylor squad shit." Loyalty loud and clear. Kim: 2, Taylor: 0
Lovato has had a long-running feud with Swift (which seems to have largely stemmed from her former best friend Selena Gomez now being besties with the country-pop star). Lovato has also had a long-running history of showing public displays of affection and respect for Kim Kardashian. So it's no surprise who she sided with, but what is shocking is that Demi who's usually so vocal showed her loyalty with a silent "like" (of another user's tweet that simply read: "I LOVE KIM KARDASHIAN !") There are more important things to talk about... Why can't people use their voice for something that fucking matters?— Selena Gomez (@selenagomez) July 18, 2016
Truth is last thing we need right now is hate, in any form— Selena Gomez (@selenagomez) July 18, 2016
This industry is so disappointing yet the most influential smh— Selena Gomez (@selenagomez) July 18, 2016
Speaking of Selena, she stuck to her guns — and her girl — and, without using any names, showed support for Swift by indirectly slamming Kardashian for not using her celebrity for the greater good especially in light of the nation's recent tragedies, writing: "There are more important things to talk about... Why can't people use their voice for something that f—king matters? Truth is last thing we need right now is hate, in any form. This industry is so disappointing yet the most influential smh." Chloë Grace Moretz
Everyone in this industry needs to get their heads out of a hole and look around to realize what's ACTUALLY happening in the REAL world— Chloë Grace Moretz (@ChloeGMoretz) July 18, 2016
Stop wasting your voice on something so petulant and unimportant— Chloë Grace Moretz (@ChloeGMoretz) July 18, 2016
Actress Chloë Grace Moretz, who already has a history of "slut-shaming" Kim, followed in Gomez's footsteps and offered up her opinion on the matter without calling out the embroiled duo specifically, but still expressed her disappointment in the "industry" and in a certain someone's "wasting" of their voice. Kim: 3, Taylor: 2
But Kim's sister Khloé didn't let other-Chloë's shady tweet slide. When Moretz wrote, "Everyone in this industry needs to get their heads out of a hole and look around to realize what's ACTUALLY happening in the REAL world," Khloé-with-a-K responded by tweeting side-by-side photos of Moretz in a red bikini that had, uh, suffered an NSFW wardrobe malfunction and pointed out her hypocrisy, writing: "Is this the a hole you're referring to @ChloeGMoretz ???" No surprise here; sister bonds are strong ones. Kim: 4, Taylor: 2
(Too bad the photo Khloé used to try to burn Moretz wasn't of the actress at all. Moretz swiftly disproved Khlo's "theory" by posting real photos that clearly show the actress in a blue bikini bottom, not a red one.)
fact check: first photo is me filming my movie Neighbors 2, the second photo is some girl who was wrongfully photographed— Chloë Grace Moretz (@ChloeGMoretz) July 18, 2016
Yikes. Egg on your face, KK.
Orange Is the New Black actress Ruby Rose decided to throw her hat into the ring too, seemingly believing that Khloé Kardashian had taken her attack against Chloë Grace Moretz too far and writing to the reality star: "Yo Khloe I thought you were rad when I met you but this is awful and this is a 19 year old girl." For shame! Kim: 4, Taylor: 3
But Khloé wasn't backing down, mincing her words or apologizing. She tweeted, to no one in particular, "I’m the last person to bully but have an animal instinct to protect and defend my family. Refrain from commenting on my family and OUR business (and I will do the same)."
