Born and raised on the southeast side of Columbus, Ohio, Jerreau (pronounced jeh-row) found solace in music to escape the violence of his neighborhood. He grew up with parents who had a love for music and he was introduced to all genres at a young age. Being in the inner city also forced Jerreau to develop the "do it yourself attitude." From teaching himself to make beats or directing and editing his own videos when need be, he always believed in creating opportunities for yourself while waiting for others to catch up. For years, he was a member of Columbus-based rap group Fly Union, which released several albums and EP’s. Working with Big Sean, Dom Kennedy, Curren$y and brands like Samsung and NBA 2K, he even joined a nationwide tour with Kendrick Lamar and BET's Music Matters.
Jerreau has since relocated to L.A. to pursue his solo career and he recently released his first solo project, Never How You Plan. The rapper believes in organic interactions and always being true to your own experiences. You'll find that honesty in all of his lyrics. Music is his first love, but don’t be surprised if you see Jerreau involved in other projects; his creativity surpasses his music range.
