While some people may simply shoot you a side-eye for cursing like a sailor, others will straight up take you to jail.
50 Cent learned that the hard way while performing on the Caribbean's St. Kitts island over the weekend. According to TMZ, the rapper was arrested after shouting "motherf—king" during his 2013 hit "P.I.M.P." in front of the 40,000-person crowd. Using profanity on stage is a violation of the nation's law, and the site reports that though he was warned not to use any during his show, 50 did not refrain from screaming the swear word into the mic.
To be fair though, 50's rep confirmed that the festival's DJ did not have a clean version of the song either, saying, "Mr. Jackson was only booked to host the show. When he arrived at the festival organizers asked him to perform, he obliged and used the DJ they had there. Unfortunately, they didn't have the clean version to his tracks, so there were profanities used during his performance. The show was a great success and he will make sure for future trips to St. Kitts that he leaves the 'motherf—kers' in the United States."
50 was arrested shortly after the show, booked for using profanity in public. But he went to court Sunday, paid a fine, and is already en route home. Watch the moment below!
