The word "classic" is thrown around quite loosely these days. It's defined as a standard of excellence. Historically memorable, and noted because of special literary or historical associations. By definition alone, Jay Z's "Reasonable Doubt" qualifies as a classic without reason for any debate over the matter. In terms of Hip-Hop, it's woven into the very fabric that is the culture of wordplay meeting lifestyle.
While independence is the norm now, it was Jay-Z and Roc-A-Fella Records who showed us all what it means to "get together and make this whole world believe us". This weekend, 20 years later we all were given the chance to celebrate with the mythological living legend himself. The Reasonable Doubt Pop Up Shop took fans back to Apt 4B where that legend began. Check out some of the photos and videos captured inside the pop up shop where Hov and friends celebrated the album that changed all of our lives.
