The upcoming Tupac Shakur biopic "All Eyez On Me" has everyone's attention, especially after a short teaser for the film arrived earlier this month. Directed by music video veteran Benny Boom and starring rising actor Demetrius Shipp Jr., the film tells the story of the late hip-hop icon, who managed to captivate the entire world within such a short career span.

The First Trailer For "All Eyez On Me" Is Finally Here

"It's been a lot of great feedback and hit every social media outlet, a lot of support and a lot of love," said Shipp Jr. to REVOLT about fan reactions to the trailer. The upcoming biopic is set to arrive later this fall, commemorating 20 years since Shakur's untimely passing. During filming, the cast was stuck with the news of Afeni Shakur's passing. Speaking on the tragic loss, director Benny Boom said the news affected everyone, but also reassured the purpose and intent behind the film.

"It hurt us because, of course, we wanted her to see the movie, but we know that we did the family proud," he shared. "We did them justice in this film."

"All Eyez On Me" hits theaters this fall.
