Quavo Talks Uniting Coasts With Kanye West On "Champions"

"East, South, West, North, Midwest, we put them all together."

On "Champions," Kanye West created another musical counterpart to Voltron, assembling the likes of Gucci Mane, Big Sean, 2 Chainz, Desiigner, Travis Scott, Yo Gotti and Quavo.

Speaking on his feature, which opens the Cruel Winter-intended single, Quavo told REVOLT the collaboration was a long time coming. As far as what was accomplished, the Migos spitter said the assortment of stars came together for the sole purpose of making "one beautiful masterpiece."

"He put all the champions together," said Quavo. "East, South, West, North, Midwest, we put them all together and made one beautiful masterpiece."

"Champions" is expected to appear on Cruel Winter, the long-delayed and much-awaited G.O.O.D. Music compilation album. While no release date, nor any other details, have been revealed about the project, the tone of what to expect has certainly been set on the star-studded single. "It's like painting a picture," Quavo said. "It's painting with all the best painters in the world in one picture."
