On "Summer 16" Drake raps "I'm out here looking for revenge," however it seems like a frequent producer of the rapper seems to be echoing those same sentiments, thanks to a reported lawsuit.
According to TMZ, Detail, who produced "Own It" and "305 to My City" on 2013's Nothing Was the Same, is suing Drake, claiming the rapper directed his bodyguard to assault him following a disagreement in June 2014. The report claims Detail, real name Noel Fisher, turned down an offer to work as the "One Dance" star's executive producer, which in turn resulted in Drake inviting the producer to his Calabasas estate for what was believed to be a studio session. From there, Detail alleges that Drake's bodyguard Chubbs broke his jaw and relayed multiple insults at him: "I will beat all your asses, including your bitches. I don't give a f*. I will hit you again. Do you think Drake is soft? You think Drake's a punk?"
Detail is seeking restitution damages, although a sum is not known. Drake has yet to respond.
