UPDATE: Gucci Mane's lawyer, Drew Findling, has confirmed to REVOLT that the rapper was released from prison earlier today (May 26). While he's out, the rapper will spend a few months under house arrest before beginning probation.
"When Gucci gets out, it's a problem," raps Drake on last year's "Digital Dash" — a fitting way to describe the mania that is about ensue now that Gucci Mane is officially out of prison.
Sources close to Gucci Mane have confirmed to REVOLT that the Atlanta rapper has been official released. The Atlanta rapper, who was arrested in Atlanta back in September 2013 for disorderly conduct, possession of marijuana and carrying a firearm, and later sentenced to three years prison on unrelated assault charges, which were to run concurrent with his federal sentencing, was released this morning (May 26) from the Federal Correctional Institution at Terre Haute, Indiana.
In addition to a report by TMZ, Gucci Mane's longtime girlfriend Keyshia Dior also revealed the news via Snapchat post, featuring the caption: "Reunited."
To no surprise, the news sent everyone into a frenzy on social media (his name immediately surged to the top trending item nationally on Twitter), hence the earlier mentioned "It's a problem" line.
