The joke may be on us.
After all the chatter and controversy Beyoncé caused upon releasing Lemonade, an album that allegedly detailed Jay Z's implied infidelities, the couple seems to be as close as ever with reports claiming that they've just finished a rumored joint album.
According to Page Six, a source said, "Jay and Beyoncé were never going to do an interview to address all the questions that came up after Lemonade. It’s more their style to respond through music." The source added that the joint album will be released on TIDAL "very soon."
Take the gossip report with a grain of salt, but early last year, Detail (who produced the couple's most recent duet "Drunk In Love") also hinted at a collaboration, telling Billboard, “I’m working with a couple of new projects that I don’t want to unveil, and then me and Beyoncé and Jay Z are actually doing something together."
