In case you haven't been privy on the latest updates concerning Travis Scott, the rapper is plotting on two projects in the coming months and they each have titles. Earlier this week, he announced Astroworld, an album set to follow-up the previously teased second output, Birds In the Trap Sing McKnight. While talking to Billboard, Travis finally broke his silence on the latter project, confirming it as an album as well as elaborating on the title's meaning.
"My next album, Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight is basically about all my friends and growing up here [in Missouri City]. I'm not saying that it's a trap — we not in the fucking projects but it's like a social trap," he explained. "It's a social connection trap from what you want to do and how you want to do and how you want to express yourself. I feel like everyone just gets constricted by their parents or just, life."
Travis recently told a crowd that the album's first single "Pick Up the Phone" will arrive in a few weeks, while the project is set to drop "sooner than you motherfuckers can take a shit tonight."
