Call it a clash of the Canadians: Drake has bested Justin Bieber for the coveted title of Spotify's most-streamed artist, according to Billboard.
The rapper’s latest effort, VIEWS, has earned a history-making record of 245.1 million listens, an achievement made all the more remarkable when you consider how long it’s been available on the platform: less than a week. (Prior to that, it spent its first two weeks of release on Apple Music exclusively.)
Bieber's Purpose previously broke the global record for the most streams of an album in its first week of release, with 205 million listens.
Regardless of the winner, can't deny that Canada is leading a chart crusade.
