Last night (April 3) on the iHeartRadio red carpet there was plenty to look at but little to discuss. While most attendees were dressed up, most looks were either typical or unbecoming or just satisfactory. REVOLT is here to discuss.
Selena Gomez & Iggy Azelea, Zendaya
Selena and Iggy were drawn to asymmetrical designs that accentuate their figures for a bit of seduction to compliment the rather bland fabrics draping their bodies. While others favored pant suits and sequins.
Zendaya & Demi Lavato
Both the pant suit and sequin fabric are crowd pleasures for any red carpet. Zendaya steps out on the edge again strutting her slim body in a crushed velvet crimson red pant suit that was more than fitting for this particular red carpet. She effortlessly marries comfy, sporty and chic with this look. Demi Lavato landed fresh out of your favorite couture closet. Although the billowing asymmetrical lapel and wide leg pants were very dramatic in structure, this blunt outfit wasn’t very becoming for Demi.
Taylor Swift, Keke Palmer & Meghan Trainor
These three used the sequin card to get through this red carpet. For major events sequin will always be celebrated but don’t forget to elevate it. Adding statement jewelry and accessories could change these looks from ordinary to one we should remember.
The Boys of iHeart
G-Eazy, Jason DeRulo and Nicky Jam all sported timeless bad boy leather biker jackets with completed outfits that reminds us of James Dean or the movie "Grease." Similarly, hair was also conversation piece. We suspect Chris Brown and G-Eazy may have the same barber for this show. The hair shocker of the night, however, is our casually dressed comrade Justin Bieber in a NY Rangers hockey jersey and locs.
