Miki Howard Shares Her Memories Of Prince

The veteran singer recalls the late musician's artistry.

Miki Howard, a 1980s and early 1990s Top-10 hit singer, remembers the first time she met Prince at the age of 19. Although Howard didn't have as close of a relationship with Prince as she did with Whitney Houston, Chaka Khan and other legendary artists, she still remembers the impact that he had on music and on her personally. Miki hit the top of U.S. Billboard Top R&B Singles chart with songs such as "Ain't Nuthin' in the World," "Love Under New Management," "Baby, Be Mine" and "Ain't Nobody Like You."

Watch her share her memories of Prince below.

"He's been a great part of music."
