Ahead of the release of The Rain Break EP scheduled for release tomorrow, Dirtybird honcho Claude VonStroke has unveiled the project’s title track and accompanying music video. Fresh off a stellar slew of Miami Music Week parties with his label, the house heavyweight teleports us back to the bell-bottomed dance floor of the 80s with the latest visuals for his track “The Rain Break.”

Citing throwback jams “Break For Love” by Raze and Oran Juice Jones’ “The Rain” as primary inspirations, VonStroke explains, “I kept singing the Break For Love bassline over and over again in my head but the vocal that always popped in over the top was from Oran Juice Jones. I can’t explain why that happened but I just thought they went together so well that I ran with it.” Check it out below!

The Rain Break EP will be released Friday, April 1 via Dirtybird.
