Chance The Rapper and Spike Lee have resumed their controversial debacle over Lee’s latest film Chi-Raq.
Last year, around the release Chance urged fans to boycott viewing the film, calling it “exploitative” of his city’s publicized violence. Lee then responded by questioning Chance’s family lineage and ties to the local government, since Chance’s father works in the mayor’s office, and continued to do so up until the screening of the film at Northwestern University last week.
He reportedly and unapologetically called Chance “a straight-up fraud,” and when Chance caught wind of it, it’s been a downhill Twitter drag ever since. Addressing Spike as a “liar” and airing him out for allegedly begging him to appear in Chi-Raq, Chance closed it out by saying, “this offensive unsuccessful flop of a movie.”

And then get mad when students at the screening challenge him on his sexist, and RACIST movie and he wanna point the finger at me— The Big Day out now (@chancetherapper) March 8, 2016
