After much delay, TIDAL finally released the total streams for Kanye West's The Life of Pablo.
Kanye’s latest album arrived last month exclusively on the streaming service. According to TIDAL, in a report by Billboard, the LP was streamed over 250 million times in its first 10 days of release.
As Wednesday (March 30) marks the one-year anniversary for Jay Z's streaming service, the number of subscribers was also revealed. TIDAL reportedly gained an additional 2.5 million new subscribers globally since it's launch, bringing in a new total of three million paid subscribers globally.
The report also says that 1.35 million of those subscribers opted for TIDAL's hi-fidelity, lossless audio/video tier, which costs $19.99 per month, instead of the regular $9.99 per month option.
Apple Music, which launched last June, has about 11 million paid subscribers, while Spotify CEO Daniel Ek announced last week that his service hit the 30 million subscriber mark.
In related Kanye news, the G.O.O.D. Music captain is currently working on a new album, Turbo Grafx 16. So far the rapper has been spotted with Migos, Big Sean, Kid Cudi, and more.
