Gwen Stefani Scores First No. 1, Rihanna & Adele Maintain Top 5 Billboard Streak

The ladies rule this week's chart, no doubt.

For the first time in her solo career, Gwen Stefani has No. 1 album of her own.

Stefani's This Is What the Truth Feels Like debuted atop the Billboard 200 chart this week with 84,000 units sold (76,000 in pure album sales). This is the No Doubt singer's first album since 2006's The Sweet Escape, which opened at No. 3 to a tune of 243,000 copies sold. Of course, the sales gap present the reality of today's music industry.

Elsewhere, Rihanna's ANTI, slipping from last week's No. 1 spot, fell to No. 4 with sales of 52,000. Not far behind is pop music's avalanche of Adele's 25 (with 51,000 units) and Justin Bieber's Purpose (47,000 copies), which round out the top five.
