Bio: La'Britney Franklin was born in Detroit, Michigan, where many stars reside but not as many get a chance to shine.
As a young girl, La'Britney studied music videos and idolized artists like Aaliyah, Destiny’s Child and Whitney Houston—she'd practice until she perfected their work word for word and move by move. Taking advantage of performing arts classes offered through school, La'Britney was able to develop her skills early as an entertainer.
At the start of her career, she joined an R&B/Pop girl group Savannah. The group later split, which forced the young triple threat to push forward on her own with a solo career.
Her drive and determination wouldn't let her give up. She gained worldwide attention from her "LaMix" videos, where she acts as a one-woman-band, singing and recreating the beats of her favorite songs using things like pots, pans, and even Doritos—spurring an immediate social buzz and growing her international fan base.
La'Britney is currently signed to MSM Productions, who will release her debut EP, featuring "How We Do" and "Crown Me."
