TGIF turned into New Music Friday last night (March 25), as Big Sean and Kid Cudi turned Good Friday — the religious holiday (not Kanye's G.O.O.D. Friday) — into a special evening.

For Sean, the holiday coincidentally arrived on his 28th birthday. So it was no surprise when the "IDFWU" rapper snuck in new music before the night was over. Produced by Tommy Brown and Mr. Frank, the song “Get My Sh*t Together” finds Sean at his most pensive, staring back at his life journey through a rearview. "When I was young I was addicted to the Wrestlemania / Maybe cause I had my back against the ropes / And I grew up Stone Cold just ready to face the Undertaker," he wittingly raps. Before the piano laden production closes out, Jhene Aiko creeps in with background vocals as the two repeat the message "Pray for us."

While Sean took it to church, Kid Cudi meanwhile, aimed for the moon with Mike Dean and Plain Pat for their tranquilizing concoction titled, "The Frequency." As the first form of new music since last year's Speedin' Bullet 2 Heaven, Cudder reminds listeners of the vibes they were ultimately enamored by on A Kid Named Cudi and Man on the Moon. "Tune on in to the frequency," he croons. Cudder recently appeared on Kanye West's The Life of Pablo, providing true highlights on standouts "Father Stretch My Hands Pt. 1" and "Waves." Chances are that this new release may appear on an upcoming project — perhaps, Man on the Moon 3?
