Tinashe is a curious talent, who is as comfortable trying different sounds as she is outfits on stage. Her mixtapes and debut album were praised for her fearless exploration and smooth vocals. Without a doubt, however, her biggest hit remains “2 On,” produced by Mustard and featuring the Cali-based crooner hovering over the ratchet production. Here, the pair reunites for “They’re On,” which despite being familiar in tune still makes us tap our feet.
