Also on the lineup are New Edition, Babyface, Charlie Wilson, Faith Evans, Leon Bridges, Jeremih, Lion Babe, Dej Loaf, The Internet, BJ The Chicago Kid, Cyril Neville, Daley, Digable Planets, Doug E. Fresh, Eric Bellinger, Estelle, Jidenna, Judith Hill, Kelly Price, Lady Leshurr, Lala Hathaway, Little Simz, Mali Music, MC Lyte, Tyrese, The Brand New Heavies, Preservation Hall Brass Band, the New Breed Brass Band, Tink and V. This year’s festival will also debut its World Music Superlounge, an addition to the event focused on music from around the world. The stage will highlight Zakes Bantwini and Skye Wanda from Durban, South Africa, where Essence Fest recently announced an expansion of its events.
