Travis Scott and producer Mike Dean disappointed about Grammy snub

Travis Scott’s Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight did not receive a Grammy nomination, despite the fact that the album went No. 1 the week it dropped. Scott’s response to not being nominated is what you would expect from any artist who felt they deserved it.

Sickamore, the vice president of A&R at Epic Records, took to his Instagram to share a photo of Travis Scott with a caption saying “reading the nominees like...” Travis then commented, “So hurt man.”

Mike Dean, the producer who played a huge role in bringing Birds together, resorted to tweeting to state how he felt about Scott's snub. “No Bird’s nominations. Grammy’s are. Kind to what’s cool and what the kids love. We need a Grammys for what’s really popping @trvisXX” he tweeted to Travis Scott.
