Spotlight on REVOLT: berhana "Janet"

Don't be a menace while drinking your juice in the hood.

Up-and-comer berhana is a singer and soulful songwriter born to an Ethiopian family in Atlanta. After moving to New York, he connected with Sapphire, who would end up producing his debut EP in a series of late-night recording sessions. His music has been described as a melting pot of sounds that is incomparable to anyone else. Personal but panoramic, berhana marks the proper arrival of a serious discovery for the year ahead.

Get to know berhana in his own words:

Best part of making this video?: I went to film school with the director, Sam Guest, and it felt like his perspective brought something new to the song. He and Julia Baylis, who styled the video, had a very clear vision that I think comes across in the visuals.

Explain the concept of the song in one sentence: At any point in time, I can be replaced.
