With a full arena of excited fans at Madison Square Garden, this year’s Z100’s iHeartRadio Jingle Ball event was nothing short of a parade from some of the most popular acts out right now. Onstage, there were notable performances from Ariana Grande, Fifth Harmony, Machine Gun Kelly, Elle Goulding, Justin Bieber, Diplo, and much more.
Fans were teased with a countdown before Fifth Harmony came out in gorgeously coordinated ensembles performing fan-favorite singles such as “All In My Head (Flex), “Worth It,” and their latest single “That’s My Girl.” While Ty Dolla $ign wasn’t there to help the girls conclude with their song “Work From Home,” fans were no doubt excited to jam out to the closing track.
In the spirit of the holidays, iHeartRadio partnered with stars to put together this concert, which was presented by Captial One and The Robin Hood Foundation, New York’s largest organization in the fight to end poverty. Notable artists such as Tinashe and Rita Ora came out to sing “Santa Claus Is Coming to Town” to bring awareness just in time for the holiday season.
Goulding emerged onstage in a bold Nut Cracker-esque jacket to compliment a black romper and gave us some of her hit tracks such as “On My Mind,” “Anything Could Happen,” and "Love Me Like You Do." Despite a reported case of bronchitis, Goulding gave her fans a stunning, energetic performance. Diplo had a set of music to turn the crowd out, and some of the most anticipated acts of the night were Grande and Bieber.
Grande delivered tracks from her most recent album, Dangerous Woman, while wearing a sexy, black two-piece outfit, mittens, and earmuffs. Grande even gave her fans a taste of her forthcoming EP Christmas and Chill. And Bieber melted the hearts of fans by playing an acoustic set, bringing out a sweet side of himself for the holidays.
