Dascha Polanco is out to start a movement

The Dominican actress talks to REVOLT about being an immigrant, promoting self-love, and a story so funny you have to watch for yourself.

Listen... sitting down with Dascha Polanco is always a treat. Usually in the vein of "what up bestie," the Dominican actress comes prepared with smiles and stories that easily make you laugh. And that's good, because when we last left the Orange Is the New Black star at the end of Season 4, we were watching some pretty serious stuff transpire. (Spoiler alert: Her character, the inmate Daya, has got a gun.)

Rolling through the Revolt TV space in NYC last week, Miss Polanco dished details on what to next expect from the series and why living and sharing in a "self-love" world is key... and then she dropped an exclusive bit of info that's seriously still got me dripping the good kind of tears. Hilarity ensues. Bake sale!
