THE ROBOTS ARE COMING!
Kraftwerk will descend upon the techno mecca known as the 2016 Movement Electronic Music Festival, taking place Memorial Day weekend, May 28-30 inside Detroit’s legendary Hart Plaza.
The electronic visionaries and Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award recipients will make history at their first-ever appearance at Movement, presenting their acclaimed 3D experience (billed as Kraftwerk - 3–D).
Also on tap for their Movement debut?
The Grammy-nominated Caribou; post-rock innovator Four Tet; the deep house dons, Âme (DJ set); and fresh off her Coachella slot, The Black Madonna.
In addition to the first timers, today's (January 20) phase one lineup reveals, in total to date, 60 performances (all listed below) that are primed to light up your Memorial Day Weekend in the D.
On top of the massive "thus far lineup" (including Maceo Plex, Nina Kraviz and an ACID STAGE), Movement is celebrating its 10th anniversary as one of the most globally recognized and influential.
In honor of the phase one announcement, make sure to catch our special last year's festivities, Movement 2015: The Sounds of Detroit, now playing exclusively on revolt.tv and on the channel throughout the week.
