Not only is Grimes sonically eccentric, her poise for making cinematic videos is just as respective. Releasing one of the best videos last year with “Flesh Without Blood,” she’s back to start the year with yet another bonkers new clip for “Kill v. Maim.”

Describing the song as, “written from the perspective of Al Pacino in The Godfather Pt II, except he’s a vampire who can switch gender and travel through space,” she now self-directs, along with her brother Mac Boucher, a colorful visual to match the outlandish description. She’s seen driving through the streets of a futuristic dystopia, traveling underground for a subway dance party, before ending up in a blood-soaked rave. Quite the illusion for Grimes second video to come from her latest studio album Art Angels.

Grimes will play a host of shows in the UK, starting March 6 in Bristol and running through Leeds, Nottingham, London, Birmingham and Manchester.
