A second officer set to begin trial for his involvement in the Freddie Gray death saw the proceedings postponed today (January 11) by the Maryland Court of Special Appeals.

According to the Baltimore Sun, Officer Ceasar Goodson Jr.'s case was postponed after an injunction petitioned to the court another officer, William Porter, requesting he not be forced to testify in the case. Now, administrators believe all of the Gray cases could be delayed for months. The first trial, Porter's, ended in a mistrial. Porter is next set to appear in court in June. At root is Porter not wanting his testimony in Goodson's case to incriminate or be used against him during his trial.
