Apparently, Sia has something in the works, after teasing "Alive" on social media. The lead track off her upcoming 1000 Forms of Fear follow-up, This Is Acting, was reportedly slated for Adele before Sia put her rousing spin on it.

“I’m still breathing/ I’m still breathing,” she slowly howls before the chorus erupts into a booming production, “I’m alive.”

The accompanying cover art for “Alive,” features a rather androgynous-figure donning a half-black-and-white wig, with cradled hands and polished fingers. Perhaps it’s the album cover, or maybe just the single, but regardless we can now expect the full project to be delivered on September 25.

“I’m calling it This Is Acting because they are songs I was writing for other people, so I didn’t go into it thinking, ‘This is something I would say,'” she said to NME. “It’s more like play-acting. It’s fun."
