Kelela Announces ‘Hallucinogen Remixes,’ Shares Rework Of “All The Way Down”

Another holdover before her full-length player drops.

Kelela // Warp Records

We’ve been waiting on Kelela’s debut album for sometime now. Granted, she’s teased us with singles and visuals along the way, but a complete set of recordings would do our body-rolls a whole vibe of wonder.

After sharing her R&B trap-estry EP Hallucinogen earlier this year, the sultry singer has now announced that a collection of reworks, Hallucinogen Remixes, will arrive on Christmas Day as a gift to her fans. Featuring production from DJ Spin TekLife and funkster MC Bin Laden among others, the five-track effort sees Kelela “galvanizing the global avant-garde to reimagine the EP as a continent-spanning sonic carnival,” as described on her SoundCloud.

Listen to the remix compilation’s first single, “All The Way Down,” produced by Kahn and featuring GAIKA below.

Hallucinogen Remixes:

01 A Message (DJ Spinn Teklife Remix)

02 Rewind (MC Bin Laden Remix)

03 Rewind (Sporting Life Remix)

04 All The Way Down [ft. GAIKA] (Kahn Remix)

05 All The Way Down (Air Max '97 Remix)

06 The High (Heavee & DJ Spinn Teklife Remix)
