The Weeknd and Mark Ronson's "Uptown Funk" nabbed two trophies last night (November 29) at the Soul Train Awards, but Jill Scott and Babyface also proved to be big winners.

The Canadian crooner nabbed Best R&B/Soul Male Artist and Album of the Year for his Beauty Behind the Madness LP. Meanwhile Ronson scored the Video of the Year and Song of the Year for his Bruno Mars collabortion.

But on this night, it was all about the performances. Jill Scott and Babyface were both honored for their careers (Scott also won Best R&B/Soul Female Artist), which led to each individually performing a medley of their respective hits. Jilly from Philly was breezy and added new touches to her range of crowd favorites, including "Long Walk" and more.

Babyface, on the other hand, chose to showcase his songwriter credits as Tevin Campbell, Fantasia Boyz II Men and Bobby Brown joined him to perform a plethora of hits.

One particular highlight was when Babyface stepped from behind his piano to duet with Brown for the bridge to "Roni."

Other winners were Jidenna (Best New Artist), Kendrick Lamar (Best Hip-Hop Song of the Year, "Alright") Silento (Best Dance Performance, "Whip/Nae Nae") and Omarion (Best Collaboration, "Post To Be").

R.Kelly closed the show with a concert-worthy performance, which you can watch below.
