Killer Mike’s stance in the political world is no surprise.

Last night (November 23), he took the stage at Bernie Sanders’ rally where he called for equality.

“I’m not here to talk about a dream that we think is unattainable so we settle for less,” he said. “I am here as a proponent for political revolution… I am here because working-class and poor people deserve a chance at economic freedom.”

He furthered his speech by advocating for Sanders, saying he truly believes (after spending five hours with him) that Sanders would be the right fit to lead our country forward.

“He, unlike any other candidate said ‘I would like to restore the Voter’s Rights Act,” Killer Mike declared. “He, unlike any other candidate said ‘I wish to end this illegal war on drugs that disproportionately targets minority and poor. Unlike any other candidate in my life he says that education should be free for every citizen of this country.”

“I know I’m preaching to the choir tonight, but I’m here to tell you stay encouraged, stay invigorated,” he began to conclude. “Stay bold. Stay confronting bullshit at every turn. Make sure that wherever you go, you take the name, the ideas, the philosophy and the ideology of Bernie Sanders.”

The speech came after he and Sanders had lunch together at a Busy Bee in Atlanta, GA.
