Chris Rock will return to the Oscars stage on February 28 to host the 88th Academy Awards, producers David Hill and Reginald Hudlin announced Wednesday (October 21).

Rock also confirmed the news on Twitter this morning.

“Chris Rock is truly the MVP of the entertainment industry,” said Hill and Hudlin in a statement. “Comedian, actor, writer, producer, director, documentarian – he’s done it all. He’s going to be a phenomenal Oscar host!”

This marks Rock’s second run-around on the the Oscars stage. He also hosted the 77th Oscars in 2005.

The 2016 Academy Awards will be held at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood and broadcast on ABC.
